The boys have been watching Despicable me 2 recently and were laughing so much at the Minions jokes and cracks that we decided to make some Minions and have some fun with them.
- MATERIALS
♦ Several paper rolls on which you will covert one end with paper to make the head.
♦ Some craft googly eyes.
♦ Yellow and blue paint.
♦ PVA glue and a black marker.
Easy!
PAINT & FACE DRAWING
-> Paint in yellow the top 2/3 of the paper roll. When the paint has dried paint the bottom in blue. Don’t forget to add the straps and front of the overalls the Minions are wearing.
-> When everything is fully dried, use the black marker to make the outlines of the overall, the buttons and pockets.
-> Then proceed the same for the face by doing the mouth, the elastic band supporting the single or double magnifying glass, as all Minions seem to be half blind!!
Minions have no usage of a nose or ears.
CRAZY MINIONS
Final step is to PVA glue the googly eyes and arms.
And hop the kids can start playing while speaking Minion language.

Mind you, the boys wanted to do the Mad and Evil Minions too but we had no purple paint to do so.
If you are better equipped than I, use purple instead of the yellow for the body and black for the overalls. You will also need some kind of purple strings to do the fuzzy crazy hair.
